HoResCon sells and supports cash registers for hotels, restaurants and shops. Each register was an island: prices, stock and customer data lived on the device, and the owner had no view across locations. Danish tax reporting (SAF-T) and online sales were needed on top, and the register software was a legacy Windows application nobody wanted to rewrite from scratch.
What we shipped
A web back-office that centralises every register: billing, stock, calendars, loyalty cards, event logs and user permissions.
SAF-T compliant transaction reporting for the Danish tax authority.
An online shop driven by the same back-office: shipping methods and calendars, item reservation, Stripe payments, and a customisable storefront.
A bridge between the existing WPF register software and the new web architecture, so registers kept running during the transition.
Reusable .NET packages shared across the registers, back-office and shop.
What it changed
[Outcome with a number: registers connected, shops live, transactions per month, years in production.]
